Jason Sagebiel

(aka Sage) is a 2009 MTNA Nationally Certified Teacher of Music and professor of music at the City University of New York. He is an experienced, knowledgable, professional, and helpful teacher.

He is also a former Marine Corps Scout-Sniper. While serving in the Iraq war in 2003, he suffered a traumatic brain injury that left him debilitated.

Not satisfied with just getting by, he sought to learn how to become successful again. Through disciplined practice and study he regained his former abilities. The answer was in learning how to learn.

By applying these science-backed learning techniques to music, he went from giving nerve wrecked disastrous performances to confidently giving more than 30 world premieres and conducting at Carnegie Hall 3 times, in addition to appearing on several albums.

By joining this course, you will quickly and easily learn his insights from over 20 years of practice in learning music.

Sagebiel is the subject of two books: “Sound Targets” and “Listening to War”.
